| Installing Your 'All Weather' Hammock Recliner |
 |
| The Hammock Recliner can easily be hung from a sturdy overhead beam or strong tree limb using the single point suspension set up. The Hammock is supplied with sufficient rope to hang from a height of 8 feet, but if the beam or tree limb is higher than 8 feet, a rope or chain can be used to suspend the Hammock. If the available height is less than 8 feet, the 'spreader bar' rope can be adjusted and shortened, so the hammock 'seat' is a convenient distance off the ground - this distance is normally knee-height. |
| |
The spreader bar knot is a non-slip 'easy to undo' knot, which can always be retied.
To adjust - shorten the rope at one end only. First pull sufficient rope through the 'spreader bar' until the correct length is obtained, then loosen and retie the knot. When retying the knot, it is important to always leave a 1 1/2 inch rope tail for safety - cut off the surplus rope, then burn to seal the rope end.
Finally, readjust the rope bend at the 'snap link', so the spreader bar is always suspended horizontally. |

| The Hammock Loop Attachment |
 |
When connecting the hammock 'loops' on to the ends of the spreader bar, the rope knot must be positioned on the outside of the loop. This will 'lock' the Hammock on to the spreader bar. To achieve this it may first be necessary to pull the rope knot to obtain some slack rope. The knot can now be passed through the hammock loop before sliding the loop onto the end of the bar - the rope can now be retensioned.
The spreader bar must always suspend 'horizontally' when the Hammock Recliner is being used - the rope bend at the 'swivel snap' can easily be adjusted to level the spreader bar. |

| Conveniently Portable |
 |
| A unique feature of the Hammock Recliner is the convenient single point suspension set up, which requires a minimum of hanging space. The other advantage is the Hammock Recliner can easily be relocated according to your mood - just follow the sun in winter, the shade in summer or your mood anytime to your favorite 'chill out' location. |

| Maintenance |
 |
| All Hammock Recliner components have been tested for load bearings strength. However, Hammock World recommends that customers check all suspension points and hanging systems periodically for wear and tear, at least once a season. Renew and replace all worn materials. Be Hammock Wise! |
